2008

2008 was a great year. i wanna thank God for many things which include:

• The end of OCS! happy graduation on 13th sept
• Asia conference, a huge turn around for my life
• Cg multiplication
• 21km half marathon (which i actually completed)
• a camp near my home
• new friendships
• stronger body
• '8am - 5pm' work
  

and of course many others which i dun really wanna share coz this is a super public blog. wahaha~

but really, 2008 was quite a emo year for me, right from the start i was under pressure, facing weird relationship problems both in camp and out. it was a trying time, i probably had slight depression for 3/4 of the year. i actually wanted to give up in OCS, wanting to quit and have time for myself. God came through for me, i'm glad i hung on =)

breakthroughs upon breathrougs, and tons of revelation which came during and after the Asia Conference. it hasn't stop since! woohoo!

i'm looking forward to many new things in 2009 which will include :

1. Full marathon! 42KM here i come~
2. Greater breakthrough in CG
3. India Trip
4. Someone to take over my job in camp
5. Fellowship with all sorts of ppl~
6. a overseas trip to hongkong/taiwan/japan/anywhere really.
   

and many others which i will update soon. coz i'm feeling drowsy now~~~

Christmas is over?!

the past 2 days were hectic and it went by really fast!!! so cramped up with events, i can't really recall much of what i've done over the 48 hrs period! lol.

think of it. i should have been more giving this xmas, many reasons that i could give for not buying the gifts.. but i concluded that. i'm lazy and not really thoughful. i want to change this. i'm missing the bigger picture. haiz.

but still christmas was great. i love the drama, the peaceful atmosphere, the overwhelming crowds, the streams of ppl that flowed to the front during the altar call.

i want to make much more a difference.

when rank doesn't matters

how very true.. some of us serving the nation thinking that we are not actually contributing anything constructive, but really why not just focus on the things that u could actually take away from the 2 years inside.

my rank probably just has added burden and more things to think about.

i'm just learning more than my men i guess...

Accomplishments vs Yet to be done

quite a good 4 days of this week.. its free afterall..

i managed to sign up for a new maxonline of my own finally! not to mention that its quite cheap.. hoho. been waiting for so long for 1.. goodbye to the per day sign up of internet!!! also i went to re-open my bbdc account, signed up for the final theory which will come in FEB -.- , at least i'm taking the test again, after 2 spectacular failures... i watched quite a few series of anime as well.. probably update that on the next post.. its getting late......

then again, i have yet to decorate my room, buy the blackboard etc... just so much to do..

i have yet to confirm anyone for the 3 events as well.. i better buck up...

bah~

i came up with a fitness regime!

Monday, Wednesday & Friday:

• 4km run
• sit up + stomach exercises!
• pull ups!

Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday!

• Gym (If avaliable)
• Basketball!!!
• or simply do the 1,3,5 sets.

YEAH! i plan to succeed! more to be added in the future! Hello 6 pacs!

Taken last week during multiplication. yes i was in my no.4

ktv for 6hrs today. it was quite an experience.

it also killed my passion for SINGING!!! i realise that i'm quite bad at it.. so i'll stick to listening from now on! haha..

6hrs sounds long but it was flying pass really!!! i had fun in that VIP room! some of it's features includes...

• Disco Light! High class kind ok! Think Lazer...
  
• Smoke Machine!! SMOKE!! YES SMOKE!!!
• quite a huge tv
• a small little STAGE area with it's little LCD for the singer!!!
• Tables with lighting that synchronise with the Disco Light!

all these for $20! Everybody say WOW!!!!

i came to realise finally, the tough side of a leader's life.

24/7 i'm thinking bout my man, my commanders, what are they going to do, how are their well-being blah blah. to the extent where i'm not thinking bout myself, my other commitments.
and this is just me.

link it back to our CGLs.. i have the sudden huge bolt of appreciation for every Leaders in church. how tough it must have been for them, thinking, praying,fasting, living their lives for the members who are placed under them..

was reading a fren's blog, things that she posted 3 years ago. and i find it amazingly familar. the kind of passion, great attitude despite the tough conditions. i'm not saying that i'm whinny now, but i need to be more er. the word to use is EXCITED.

always God was really what i talked about, God's promises and victories in me is what i wanted the world to know. i need to revamp the way i post once again =)
