Moments before i left SG. dun ask me why i'm dressed like that for india.

spent 16 days in india.. 2 days being travelling and another 2 of R&R.

i went with a heavy heart, this time, the proficiency of the platoon will be seen by not just the company, but the whole battalion and also the indian army.

the results were good i feel, but the comments is lousy, way below what i expected. and the ultimate key to that? the lousy PC that i'm. not doing my job well. the feeling sucks, but its the truth, didn't need anyone to tell me. good news is not alot of ppl know. majority still feels that my platoon is doing well, even the colonel from India gave me praise.

it was the most difficult 12 days of my entire life somehow. never in my life had i felt so depressed and down under. worst when there is no one to talk to. but i endured, really glad to be home, just need to sort things out a little for the next 2 weeks.

moving on, the R&R was great. the hotel was good. 4 star i think? with a bath tub. wahaha. which i didn't really made use of. was so tired, the only facility that i used was probably the BED. 2 place that we visited. Agra Fort and Taj Mahal.

not many ppl in this world would bother to visit the taj mahal for leisure, but we went. quite a impressive sight, a structure made of pure marble and coloured stones. 22 years and 60000 workers. but the smell inside the tomb area.. haha. if u have the chance go n experience it urself yea. =)

Also i visited some of the streets market. quite chui actually, we won't buy majority of the things they sell. i bought keychains for u guys though, wait till i pass to u alright. hah.

some keypoints

• i didn't see any stall selling spices, particularly curry powder -.
• typical macdonald's meal cost $3 SGD.
• there are hardly any girls on the streets.
• weather is good. hardly any sweat due to low humidity.
• Cook house food rocks! its heaven compared to those we have in SG.
• CONED ice cream cost 80cents.

india tour is over! 6 more mths to ORD. can't wait.
